If your plans have changed and you need to cancel your Fall 2025 / Spring 2026 two-term MSU Housing Contract, the last day to cancel without penalty is TOMORROW, Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11:59 PM CT. If you need to cancel at a later date, please see the 2025/2026 cancellation schedule below.
2025/2026 Housing Contract Cancellation Penalty Schedule for Students with a Spring 2025 Contract
Cancellation Date Penalty
- On or before February 28, 2025 None
- March 1 – May 31, 2025 $400
- Beginning June 1, 2025 Students Enrolled for Fall 2025 May Not Cancel
To cancel, log in on to the MSU Housing Portal select ‘Application or Contract Cancellation Request Form' to complete the housing cancellation steps for the Fall 2025 / Spring 2026 academic year.
*NOTE: You will not be able to reclaim your space once you cancel. Please be certain of these changes prior to your cancellation.
