Welcome to Azalea: Mississippi State's Newest and Most Exciting Residence Hall!
Get ready, Bulldogs—Mississippi State University is leveling up, and Housing and Residence Life is leading the charge! Our new residence hall, Azalea, is more than just a place to sleep—it's a next-level living experience! Slated to open by Fall 2025, Azalea will be your new home sweet home, located in the heart of campus between Old Main and Zacharias Village.
This isn’t your typical residence hall! With Azalea's pod-style layout, you’ll have the privacy of a single room but still get the social vibe you crave, thanks to shared community spaces. Imagine having your own space while easily connecting with friends in stylish, comfortable lounges, kitchens for whipping up group meals, and in-house laundry so you’ll always look sharp. Plus, Azalea has something EXTRA—a dining hall on the first floor. Yes, you read that right: delicious meals just steps away from your room!
But wait—there's more!
Azalea will also be home to the Luckyday Program, which helps students from Mississippi achieve their higher education dreams. The program gets its very own space on the ground floor, complete with an exclusive Luckyday entrance! And let’s not forget about the future NPHC Plaza at the corner of George Perry Street and Barr Avenue, giving even more reasons to celebrate campus life and make lifelong memories.

Azalea Hall isn’t just another building. With 159,000 square feet of cutting-edge design, this 412-bed residence hall is all about creating community and connection. From green spaces perfect for study sessions, grabbing a table with friends, or a quick game of Spikeball, this is more than just a place to live—it’s the ultimate Bulldog hangout spot. Imagine stepping outside to chill in the fresh air, surrounded by all the energy and spirit that makes Mississippi State great!
